With the Ubuntu Firefox Modifications installed there is still a conflict with the WOT and Adblock Plus extensions where the icons for these are not displayed in the navigation toolbar. I previously reported this to the 'Problems & Questions' forum and the test build 20081123 resolved it. However, with this latest dev build the problem has recurred. I've tried uninstalling the latest dev build and reinstalling the test build version above but still can get it to work. I've also deleted my Fx profile and started with a new profile, installed these 3 extensions (Ubuntu Firefox Modifications already there by default) but again the problem persists. I've tried it with both the test build and the latest dev build for TMP but again no joy!

This conflict has not been fixed.

With Ubuntu Firefox Modifications enabled, the WOT and Adblock extensions as previously reported to the 'Problems & Questions' forum do not work - their icons are not displayed in the navigation toolbar.

I've tried going back to the test build 20081123 but this also wouldn't work. Tried with a new Fx profile and just these extensions (test build and latest dev build for TMP) but again 'no joy'.

Using Fx 3.0.4 on Ubuntu 8.10

brianbeag,
i've deleted 4 dupes of the last post (as a guest, you can not do it, as a registered member you can delete your dupes/last posts - that is if nobody has posted after you). FYI, the next time you get that 'debug' error, don't reload the page and resent data. Just close the tab and check the thread to see if it's been posted. It usually does.

Don't think so. Looks like the same thread I previously posted.

Granted, both are annoying. The second pic is the current default behavior, and I know there is a bugzilla bug to fix this.

But is there a way to make the border not get worse when TMP is enabled?

I'm using:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20081202 Shiretoko/3.1b3pre

Click the page, this unselects the tab and clicking another doesn't, you have to double click that again to unselect the tab.

Thanks for that. FYI, I currently have the test version 20081123 of TMP installed; sometimes when I launch Fx with Ubuntu Firefox Modifications enabled all is fine with the Adblock Plus and WOT icons and then the next time I run Fx the icons have disappeared. Don't understand what's going on here but pleased to see it's been logged as a bug and is being worked on.

Hi, I know FF automatically monitors the TMP addons page for releases https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1122.

Is there a way to have TMP auto update to the latest development builds? Thanks!

PostPosted: Tue Dec 09, 2008 1:38 pm
the latest beta 0.3.7.4pre.081203 seems to break the new tab tearing features. When you tear the tab to a new window, the tab doesn't go to the new window. Disabling tmp and it works fine.

I'm running firefox 3.1 beta 2 on windows vista 32bit.

0.3.7.4pre.081203 - messes with throbber on tabs. I have my own style and it no longer works. It does work with 3.7.3.

(Just in case, my style is:
#main-window[firefox3] .tabbrowser-tab[busy] >.tab-image-middle > .tab-icon >.tab-icon-image { list-style-image: url("")...}
I believe i used the exts. code here)

This works for me with the latest nightly

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20081215 Firefox/3.2a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

and

0.3.7.4pre.081203

But, the URL on the new window changes to about:blank.

Using the shiretoko branch build when I drag a tab into the content area to detach it the new window is completely blank, not even a tab bar with about:blank. This is on a new profile just with TMP 0.3.7.4pre installed.

The build of shiretoko is:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20081203 Shiretoko/3.1b3pre

Anyone else confirm?

This happens to me too with the builds in my previous post.

drop #main-window[firefox3]

we don't set any main-window attribute anymore from this version
