This dev.build is for Fx before 57, Fx Nightlies, ESR Fx builds and other browsers like Pale Moon and Waterfox.
When TMP WE will be ready, onemen will tell us, it will have different ID.

Multi-row and tab styles work fine on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 aka Nightly 59.0a1 (2017-12-11) (64-bit)

Onemen, you are our hero!

Hm, to get this right:

I install Firefox 59 Nightly, add "extensions.legacy.enabled" in about:config and latest TMP dev build will work? I thought that switch has been disabled since Firefox 57 nightlies and compatiblity with legacy extensions has been removed at all?!

Thanks

edit: Ok, tried myself and confirm its working.

TMP breaks my menubar as well. Actually I don't have menubar enabled but with TMP it adds that space like it is open. The only way to fix it is to enable menubar then close it (so pressing alt twice) but I have to do every time I launch the browser which is annoying. Happens with default TMP settings. I use a custom theme but default density.

Can you test it in a clean profile or disable all exts., theme included? What's your Fx version?

Happens with all addons but TMP disabled, happens on all themes but I use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... ostmourne/

Happens on a completely new profile with default TMP settings... I am using the latest Firefox Nightly x64 but this issue has been around since 0.5.0.5pre.170827a1 or a2...

The user issue you quoted looks like the same issue I'm getting, at least from his description (the images are all deleted).

Confirmed.

I hope to find some free time to look into this issue.

Tabmix preferences dialog is broken in Nightly since January 4th after bug 1379338 - scriptify preferences XBL (i.e. convert preferences XBL to JS) landed.

Fixing this will require major rewrite of Tabmix legacy preferences code.
Since i'm not going to use the legacy preferences code in the future Webextension I'm not sure i'm going to fix this issue any time soon

Alex at Waterfox plans to create 'An independent browser add-on store' this year and i hope TMP will be there. Since he plans on keeping WF at v.56 with Fx security updates only and i don't see any problems posted here about legacy TMP, i don't think it will add any work load for you to keep it up there. I hope you will. WF is gaining users and i know many switch because they want to continue using TMP (and Session Manager, and Stylish, and other exts. people are used to using for years).

That's good news, indeed. I might grab a copy of WF and start using it a bit.

At the very least, I can keep it around for those times I really want to do something that requires me to use a legacy addon....

The 'trick' is not to update your (legacy) exts. as some might be moving to WE and it means - usually - limited functions, etc.. Need to check AMO for ext. update (change) log before updating. Since all of my exts. work well, i simply quit checking for updates (i install TMP dev.builds from links in onemen posts here).
