Apparently I clicked to update Firefox. When I restarted Firefox last night, it came up with all my tabs' names running across each other and it looks like variable length tabs -- an unholy mess and impossible to use. I think it's the new version of Firefox that's the problem, and plan to roll back.

Here's my question. What will happen to the information that is currently stored in TMP like tabs that were open? Do I need to back it up before going back to an older version of Firefox, and if so, what files do I copy? Actually, even if rolling back won't cause a problem, I'd like to make a backup just in case.

Thank you!

Open TMP settings/Preferences/Export. This will save your TMP prefs in a .txt format.
To backup sessions read this.
I'd suggest you install the latest TMP dev.build before you reinstall older Fx version.

If you are using Tab mix session manager your all sessions are saved in session.rdf file in your profile
This file does not changed when you upgrade or downgrade Firefox
