Using the 64 bit developer edition the Events tab of TMP is empty and has an orange ! over the icon in the header of the pop-up. Have tried disabling all of my add-ons and created a new profile all with the same results. Suspect some new/weird interaction between TMP and the developer edition of FF.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Dave

If you know how to edit extension xpi files, go to tabmixplus.xpi\chrome\content\preferences\events.xul and edit
Code:
<checkbox_tmp id="warnOnClose" label="&warnCloseMultipleTabs.label;" preference="pref_warnOnClose"/>
to say
Code:
<checkbox_tmp id="warnOnClose" label="&warnOnCloseMultipleTabs.label;" preference="pref_warnOnClose"/>
some of the personal pronouns on the tab closing tab won't match, but the event pages will start working. This only works with newer versions of Firefox (like developer and nightly) and will break earlier versions/waterfox if you do it there.

Thank you Chris. If that file is included when syncing then that option won't work as I use the regular version of FireFox too and sync across multiple machines.

Based on your description of a solution do you think the next TMP update will/would correct the issue?

That file is located in the xpi file that is the TabMixPlus addon. I don't use syncing, but I don't think actual xpi files are synced, it's probably just the URL of the extension that is sent from device to device and installed that way - worst case, if something breaks, just reinstall the version from the mozilla addons site and the file will be back to original. My assumption is if a new update to TabMixPlus is put out before mozilla breaks all addons (which is coming soon - Firefox 57) it will be fixed.

I worked out how to edit the XPI file and did it. Eventually after figuring out how to get it to load, it still came up with a blank page!
What do I do now!

Yes. I did try the latest build and it fixed the problem. I should have thought of that first! Sorry
